Heavy loam for top dressing lawns and grass sports fields. Binder Loams are renowned for use on famous cricket pitches and Super Surrey Loam is no exception. Screened to 4mm particles, Super Surrey Loam is a mix of clay, silt and sand (28/57/15). The loam can be rolled to improve pitch pace and bounce.
How to use loam soil as a top dressing for garden lawns
Loam soil can be applied to a garden lawn after it has been mown. Rake the soil to scarify and aerate if needed. Apply the loam as a top dressing at a rate of 0.5-1m3 for every 100m2 of lawn. Rake or brush the loam to apply evenly to the grass.
